Each fall, the Diocesan Directors meet and discuss issues
such as making adjustments to rules, adding new events, or
constitutional changes. If a change is voted on and
approved, an unofficial summary of that change will appear
here.
Changes approved at the September 29-30, 2006 meeting in
Houston, TX:
The entry fee for the Grand National Tournament is $35 per
student, up from $30.
Public Forum Debate has been added as
an event effective immediately and will be offered at
the 2007 Grand National Tournament in Houston.
League Quotas have been increased.
Leagues of 5 or more schools have the same number of
entries per event but have additional entries as a
league to accommodate Public Forum Debate entries.
Leagues of 2, 3, or 4 schools have an additional entry
to be used for Public Forum Debate or any other event,
with a maximum of 1 entry per category.
